Your mission
As the Community Storytelling & Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for leading and implementing the Institute’s storytelling and communication strategy, managing a global community to highlight the human impact of cyberattacks and disinformation on vulnerable communities through compelling narratives. As the voice of the Institute, you will engage and inspire a global audience, deconstructing technical topics into relatable, emotional stories.
Responsibilities
Under the leadership of the CEO, the Community Storyteller & Engagement Manager’s main responsibilities will include:
Tell all the stories of the Institute, starting with the one of the Beyond 125 action plan, aiming at empowering and preventing cyberattacks and disinformation against NGOs;
Lead the implementation of the Institute’s marketing and communication strategy on increasing digital resilience, preventing harm and enforcing accountability in cyberspace;
Manage a global community to tell the stories of harms of cyberattack and disinformation against the most vulnerable;
Create emotions, and show how cyber and AI are about human beings, by focusing on the human part of storytelling when addressing cyber and technical issues;
Deliver and ensure quality control of the Institute’s communication’s products (i.e website, social media presence, newsletters, releases, email announcements, planned publications, on-line, intranet, video, etc);
Ensure alignment with the Institute’s culture, values, and beliefs across all communications;
Craft & communicate high quality compelling narratives (written or multimedia format) across various platforms (e.g. events, social media, blogs, and websites);
In cooperation with the Strategy, Fundraising & Partnerships team, ensure that the communication strategy creates fundraising opportunities.

Duration: indefinite
Location: Geneva or The Hague with some remote working possibilities, or full remote CET timezone
Working rate: full-time at 32 hours per week (Mondays to Thursdays)
